Description

The Drake CX.2 is a modern 2-seater electric golf cart designed for users who want compact size, clean styling, and dependable electric performance. It is part of Drake’s CX Series, which is positioned as a durable and functional range for personal, lifestyle, and commercial passenger transport.

Drivetrain: The Drake CX.2 is powered by a 5kW AC motor and 350A motor controller, giving it enhanced torque for hills and heavier loads. AC drive technology also improves efficiency through regenerative braking.

Steering: It uses a self-compensating double reduction helical rack-and-pinion steering system that helps provide responsive handling and a controlled driving feel.

Suspension: The front suspension features an independent McPherson setup with a lower A-arm, coil spring, and hydraulic shock absorber, while the rear uses a coil spring and hydraulic shock absorber to support ride comfort.

Brakes: The CX.2 is fitted with self-adjusting mechanical rear drum brakes with a conventional brake pedal and hook parking brake for dependable stopping performance.

Batteries: It runs on a LiFePO4 lithium battery pack with high-discharge current up to 3C. Drake also states that its lithium models offer faster charging, a 5-year warranty, up to 10 years lifespan, and up to 75 km per charge.

Charger: The cart comes with a 1200W rapid onboard automatic charger for convenient recharging.

Chassis: The chassis is built from welded high-yield strength aluminium alloy beams, giving the cart a lightweight yet durable structure.

Lights: It includes LED headlights and taillights with front and rear indicators for improved visibility.

Mirrors: Side mirrors and a centre-view mirror are included to support safer driving on private estate roads.
