The Drake CXF.2 is a purpose-built 2-seater electric fleet and security golf cart designed for businesses that need practical, low-maintenance transport. Drake positions it as a durable, no-fuss cart for security patrols, maintenance teams, and golf operations, making it a strong option for commercial and estate use.

Drivetrain: The Drake CXF.2 is powered by a 5kW AC motor and 350A motor controller, helping it deliver strong torque when climbing hills or carrying load. Its AC drive technology also improves efficiency through regenerative braking during use.

Suspension: The front suspension uses an independent McPherson setup with a lower A-arm, coil spring, and hydraulic shock absorber, while the rear suspension also uses coil springs and hydraulic shock absorbers to support a smoother ride across daily operating surfaces.

Steering: It features a self-compensating double reduction helical rack-and-pinion steering system that helps provide controlled handling and predictable maneuverability.

Brakes: The CXF.2 is fitted with self-adjusting mechanical rear drum brakes, paired with a conventional brake pedal and hook parking brake for dependable stopping performance.

Batteries: The cart uses a LiFePO4 lithium battery pack with high-discharge current up to 3C. Drake also states that its standard 51.2V TC105 lithium setup is maintenance free, charges faster, carries a 5-year warranty, and can deliver up to 75 km per charge under stated conditions.

Charger: It comes with a 1200W rapid onboard automatic charger for convenient day-to-day charging.

Chassis: The chassis is built from welded high-yield strength aluminium alloy beams, giving the cart a lightweight structure while maintaining durability and strength for fleet work.

Bumper: Front and rear bumpers are designed with collision absorption up to 5 mph, helping protect the cart in routine fleet environments.

Dashboard Display: A Curtis 840 meter is included to display speed and usage hours, which is useful for fleet monitoring and maintenance planning.
