The Drake CXR.2+2 is a raised 4-seater electric golf cart designed for drivers who need more ground clearance, passenger space, and reliable performance across uneven terrain. Drake positions it for South African outdoor trails and hilly environments, making it a strong option for estates, lodges, farms, and lifestyle properties.

Drivetrain: The Drake CXR.2+2 is powered by a 5kW AC motor paired with a 350A motor controller, helping it deliver stronger torque on hills and under load. Its AC drive technology also supports regenerative braking for improved efficiency during operation.

Suspension: The front suspension uses a McPherson independent setup with a lower A-arm, coil spring, and hydraulic shock absorber, while the rear uses coil springs and hydraulic shock absorbers to help maintain ride comfort on mixed surfaces.

Steering: It features a self-compensating double reduction helical rack-and-pinion steering system that helps provide controlled handling and smoother maneuverability.

Brakes: The CXR.2+2 is fitted with self-adjusting mechanical rear drum brakes together with a conventional brake pedal and hook parking brake for dependable stopping performance.

Bumper: Front and rear bumpers are designed with collision absorption up to 5 mph, helping add protection in daily use.

Batteries: The cart uses a LiFePO4 lithium battery pack with high-discharge current up to 3C, supporting efficient power delivery and reduced maintenance compared with traditional lead-acid systems.
